The brainchild of Davis, a mechanical engineer by education and self-described epicurean, the Sol Squeeze concept was born inside her north Florida home. The Indiana transplant embraced the Florida lifestyle and bought a lime tree that eventually produced an abundance of fruit–300 limes in one season, to be exact. What to do with the excess limes? Sol Squeeze Recipes

Go full vacay-style by mixing a Frozen Margarita Slushy, made to enjoy straight from the pouch, or take a walk on the a lighter side with the sparkling skinny margarita, which merges the vibrant flavors of Sol Squeeze’s fresh mix with tequila and the effervescence of sparkling water.

Sparkling Skinny Margarita
  • 1.5 ounces tequila
  • 1.5 ounces Classic or Mango Sol Squeeze margarita mix
  • 4.5 ounces sparkling water

Preparation: Fill glass with ice. Combine 1.5 ounces of tequila and 1.5 ounces of Sol Squeeze mixer in a rocks glass over ice. Top your Sol-water with sparkling water (like Topo Chico), and stir.

Portable hack: Add a shot of tequila directly in the pouch to enjoy a Sol Squeeze roadie.


Frozen Margarita Slushy
  • 6-ounce pouch of Classic or Mango Sol Squeeze margarita mix
  • 3 ounces tequila, blanco

Preparation: In a shaker or cup, combine 3 ounces of tequila with one 6-ounce pouch of Sol Squeeze margarita mix and stir to combine. Using a small funnel, pour mixture back into the pouch.  You’ll have a small amount leftover, consider it your reward for great things to come. Replace cap and freeze upright until slushy (about two hours). Squeeze into a glass or drink directly from the pouch for a perfect mar-GO-rita.

  • 6-ounce pouch of Mango Sol Squeeze margarita mix
  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • ½ cup mango cubes (fresh or frozen)
  • ½ cup sliced strawberries
  • Sparkling water (optional)

Preparation: Combine one pouch of Mango Sol Squeeze margarita mix and wine into a pitcher and stir. Add apples, mango, and strawberries. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve over ice and top with sparkling water (optional) for some fizz!
