Spring is peeking around the corner, so we thought we’d give people a jump-start on their warm weather wardrobes and a first look at Flamingo’s latest issue during an exclusive shopping party at J. McLaughlin in Hyde Park Village. The store was bursting with J. McLaughlin’s new spring collection, flowers from The Potting Shed brightened the room, wines were poured by Johnson Brothers of Florida, shoppers munched on snacks from Bartaco and live music performed by J.T. Brown floated above the chatter. The best part? A portion of the night’s sales benefitted Path of the Panther, a photography project by Flamingo contributor Carlton Ward Jr. meant to inspire conservation of the Florida panther’s ecosystem.
