Shake off the sand and head to the M.B. Miller County Pier for a stroll on the board-walk or fishing off the pier. Afterward, grab an ice cream at Pier Park, a large outdoor shopping and entertainment center with a wide variety of fun. Take the family fun indoors at Ripley’s Believe It or Not, the famous museum of oddities, or WonderWorks kid’s science museum.

Panama City Beach has some of the best scuba diving in the region, with five super reefs teeming with marine life. Airboat Adventures tour of the area’s backwaters and marshlands makes the perfect perch for spotting all kinds of wild life from bald eagles to dolphins. For lunch, picnic at Camp Helen State Park among 185 acres of ecological wonder. Bicycle through scenic Conservation Park and take in the sunset at Sheraton Bay Point Resort, recently renovated to perfection.
