What’s Your Vacation Vibe?
From adventure to romance and family fun to natural escapes, Panama City Beach has it all.

FOR THE THRILL-SEEKER
Jumpstart the morning flying through the air at Beachfront Adventures on a zipline, 60-feet off the ground, featuring gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico. Want something steeper? Head to Shipwreck Island Waterpark, home to rapids, a lazy river and the Tree Top Drop, a set of two slides that stand 65 feet high, one coiling in circles and the other with a straight plummet to the finish. For a well-earned lunch, head to Billy’s Oyster Bar & Crab House and enjoy some fresh local seafood at this beloved classic.

FOR THE FAMILY
Shake off the sand and head to the M.B. Miller County Pier for a stroll on the board-walk or fishing off the pier. Schooners, situated right on the beach, is the locals’ choice for relaxing with a cup of house-made gumbo or a good old-fashioned burger. Afterward, grab an ice cream at Pier Park, a large outdoor shopping and entertainment center with a wide variety of fun. Take the family fun indoors at Ripley’s Believe It or Not, the famous museum of oddities, or WonderWorks kid’s science museum.

FOR THE ECOTOURIST
Panama City Beach has some of the best scuba diving in the region, with five super reefs teeming with marine life. Airboat Adventures tour of the area’s backwaters and marshlands makes the perfect perch for spotting all kinds of wild life from bald eagles to dolphins. For lunch, picnic at Camp Helen State Park among 185 acres of ecological wonder. Bicycle through scenic Conservation Park and take in the sunset at Sheraton Bay Point Resort, recently renovated to perfection.

FOR THE ROMANTIC
Start off right by reserving a room at the beautiful Carillon Beach Resort Inn. Ask for one of the resort’s king suites, which feature a fireplace and private hot tub on the balcony. Cruise over to shell island, an unspoiled barrier island, or unwind at the Panama City Beach Winery, where more than 30 specialty wines are made from local Florida fruits. Top off the evening at the award-winning Firefly with a plate of baked oysters at a table for two under a grand oak tree wrapped in twinkling lights.
